But for your size, the 950 will be the better choice. Similar power to the 1100, which definitely comes in handy. The 650 and 750 are awesome bikes, but im 5'8 and cramped slightly on the 650. 158. Like you Dude, I am a Yamaha man when it comes to bikes, but the virago, is not a great bike. Like was said before the starter is crap and causes all kinds of bad electrical issues. Stick with the Honda. If you are looking for a cruiser the Honda Shadow is a great model and the prices now are cheap for everything. This bike really surprised me. It was easier to ride than the 250 bikes they had on the MSF course. I recommend this as a starter bike for larger people. I wanted the 600 but was afraid that I might want to upgrade later and boy, am I happy I got the 750. Out of no where the bike just wouldnt start to begin with, so naturally replaced the starter solenoid. Well after a day or two the bike did it again and took it to a shop and they said blah blah blah well after a grand in parts and laborWelcome to the forum. The 750 should be your best bet for your starter bike. My 750 is my fourth bike and aside from wanting more power it fits me well and I'm happy. I'm 5'6" so forwards for you should be put on.
